A cultivar developed in Africa, heat is generally comparable to a habanero. Yellow varieties have a citrus flavoring similar to a Jamaican scotch bonnet, red versions are somewhat different.
Because variety is the spice of life, these Fatalli seeds were harvested from a plant growing red pods amidst hundreds of yellow neighbors. Color variation is to be expected.
Germination time 7-12 days, days to maturity 130+. These plants grow incredibly bushy - space at least 2' apart and keep row spacing to 6'. Plants will be *loaded* with pods, 150+ per plant is normal. Pods are 3-4" and up to 1" thick.
