These plants grow very bushy, 3-4' tall and 6+ feet wide. Start indoors 12-16 weeks prior to transplant out after risk of frost has passed. Care must be taken in row spacing to avoid overcrowding and harvest difficulty (2' intra plant, 6' intra row). Produces very heavily through end of season (first frost) with 75-150 pods per plant possible. Heavy nutrient draw during peak production. Some susceptibility to fusarium wilt noted, recommend inoculation with mycorrhizae during seedling production to help protect the plant's roots after transplant. These plants may attract corn borers more than most pepper plants, daily field walks should be done to spot wilted branches for rapid mitigation in areas with those pests.
