This pimento cultivar is popular in the Southwest USA. Also known as the Guero chili pepper, great when grilled, sliced on sandwiches, or used as a general ingredient.

Sow indoors 8-10 weeks prior to transplant after all risk of frost has passed. Plants grow compact, 2-3 feet tall. Plant spacing 1.5 feet on 3-4 foot row spacing. Pods are generally harvested before ripe, while still white in color. Taste changes significantly once pods turn red (becoming more pungent and slightly sour). Heat can vary significantly depending on when harvested.
