Aji Golden are a fantastic tasting pepper originating from South America. The pods grow several inches long and prodigious pod setting; at harvest time it's not uncommon to see 100+ pods per plant when grown to full size. The heat is moderately hot, but not overly intense, mitigated somewhat during cooking, and does not mask the absolutely wonderful flavor.
Due to the long growing season (120+ days) seeds must be started indoors 10-12 weeks prior to transplanting outdoors after risk of frost has fully passed. Cold intolerant, will not tolerate temp drops below 46F.
